What are my travel options from the UK?

The local transport infrastructure ensures that access to the area is easy by any means of transport. It is located at the foot of the main autoroute to the South of France, it has a daily TGV rail service which takes less than 3 1/2 hours from Paris, the Eurostar operates a service to nearby Avignon, and there is good access to a number of airports which have daily flights from most areas of the UK.

Flights: Cheap air travel is becoming increasingly accessible and you do not always have to use the budget airlines. There are a number of airports which are reasonably easy to reach such as Montpellier, Nimes, Marseille, Nice, Barcelona, Perpignan and Toulouse - all of which operate services to one or more of the UK's regional airports. Check out Ryanair; EasyJet ; BMIBaby ; JET2 ; British Airways and Airfrance; or try The Travel Supermarket

Car Rental: All airports and major railway stations have car rental facilities.

By Rail: The TGV has a daily service to Nimes and Montpellier which takes less than 3 1/2 hours from Paris and Eurostar operates a service to nearby Avignon. Contact Eurostar ; Rail Europe ; The French Rail Network for fare and timetable information.
